Usually easy to get an appointment and quick to get seen but 50 minute wait on last visit and no info re delay on electronic display

The booking system is totally inadequate. Morning telephone calls are a lottery. The surgery should be open on Saturday morning to make appointments and to deal with prescriptions.

Booking for only the same day by phone means long waits of the engaged tone, and then when you get through there is nothing left except a waiting list. The advance booking arrangement is good but choice of doctor and timings limited. Perhaps more problems could be sorted out by phone or even e-mail.

I have been at this practise for years, I am a nurse & would not have stayed here if I wasn't happy with the treatment I & my family have had. I also live locally & the practice is well thought of. I have had a variety of thankfully minor health issues and have been happy that any treatment was with my involvement through discussion. The receptionists when I ring have always been very helpful wether it's checking a prescription is ready to collect or advice regarding which GP I should try to see depending on my problem.

I have had a far better experience at Biddlestone Health group than any of the other GP surgeries I have been at as a student in Newcastle. I am taken seriously and not just dismissed as another student. My doctor actually listened carefully, taken action where necessary, and has provided very consistent care through a period if ill health. I have never felt time pressured/rushed through an appointment which is a rarity, and all the other staff I have come into contact with have been friendly and helpful.
